“How much will it cost?” is the first question in every call. The honest answer is: it depends - but not on random things. Here are the factors that really affect the price, so you know what to tell us when you ask for a quote.
The volume and type of items
One sofa and a whole three-bedroom apartment are different jobs. What matters is not just the number of items, but also heavy and bulky ones - wardrobes, pianos, washing machines, safes.
Floor and lift
Carrying from the fifth floor without a lift takes much more time and effort than from the ground floor. A narrow lift that the furniture does not fit into effectively means stairs.
Distance and access
How far away the new address is, and how close the truck can stop to the entrance. If things have to be carried across a yard or down a long corridor, that also takes time.
Disassembly and assembly
Furniture that has to be taken apart and put back together adds work. It is best to mention it in advance, so it is included in the quote.
Packing
If your things are already in boxes, the work goes much faster. If you want the team to pack, that also affects the time.
How to get an accurate quote
- Send photos of the larger furniture or do a short video viewing on Viber.
- Tell us the floor and whether there is a lift - at both addresses.
- Mention what needs taking apart.
- Agree on a convenient date - the end of the month is the busiest.
